Consultant Allergy Specialist (Physician) – Dr. Cecilia Trigg MD FRCP

A teleconsultation with Dr Trigg will offer you a provisional or firm diagnosis and comprehensive advice on the best management for your condition. Dr Trigg will provide a full written report of the consultation and advice given. While skin testing cannot be carried out currently owing to the need for social distancing, Dr Trigg can arrange for a blood testing kit to be sent to you to take a fingerprick sample at home. You can then send this by post is a special package to a London laboratory. This can support the clinical diagnosis where needed. Dr Trigg will advise on the cost of the tests at the consultation – the number and type of tests with vary depending on the clinical problem. If insured, please check if the consultation and the tests will be covered. The major insurers have agreed to cover teleconsultations. Dr Trigg will be happy to carry out skin testing at follow up appointments when restrictions are lifted and this will be covered completely by the follow up fee. Not all patients will need skin testing following the initial consultation as  a clinical diagnosis can be made by an experienced specialist for many conditions. The new patient fee has been reduced as skin testing is not included currently.

New patient consultation – up to an hour –  £200

Follow up consultation – up to 30 minutes – £110

Current test prices  (at time of writing) – SIngle allergen blood test: £33.00. Maximum per single fingerprick sample is 8 allergens. ISAC microarray 112 allergens £394  – not all will need this test which is designed to detect allergen antibodies to very specific allergens (for instance the 5 most important allergens in peanut).

Chris is an Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner Physiotherapist and a Visiting Lecturer at University of Hertfordshire. He teaches internationally and has over 30 years experience of managing pain disorders.Cost: £50 for 30 minutes / £75 for 45 minutes. BUPA, AXA PPP, WPA & Nuffield Health have confirmed they will all reimburse remote / online consultations

Clinical Hypnosis and CBH techniques (Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy)  – Nicky Winter 

Using her Clinical Hypnosis and CBH techniques (Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy) plus holistic therapies, Welfare  Officer and previous RGN nursing knowledge.
